Professional Portraits in Meath
Made to capture the moments you want to remember. Enjoyable portraits of children and families, plus modern professional headshots, created in a private studio near Dublin.
Sharon Byrne’s private portrait studio on the Meath–Kildare border, just outside Kilcock, around 30 minutes from Dublin. Every session is personal, comfortable, unhurried and gently guided.

The heart of the studio
Natural Children & Family Studio Portraits
Children change quickly. A family portrait session gives you a little time to pause and create something tangible from this stage of your lives.
Sessions are relaxed and led at your child’s pace. There is no expectation that children should sit perfectly or smile on command. I photograph children individually, siblings together and whole families, creating a thoughtful mix of timeless portraits and natural connection.
Parents are always encouraged to be photographed too. Years from now, the portraits of everyone together may be the ones that matter most.
For individuals and teams
Professional Headshots Near Dublin
A professional headshot should look polished without making you look like somebody else. I photograph business owners, executives, creatives and teams who want a confident image that still feels natural.
You do not need to know how to pose. I guide you throughout the session with clear, straightforward direction. Individual headshots take place in my private Meath studio, while workplace sessions are available for teams in Meath, Dublin and Kildare.

People, personality and connection
Natural Portraits From the Studio
Children and family portraits come first, alongside professional headshots created with the same calm, personal approach.

The photographer behind Sharon byrne photography
Meet Sharon Byrne
Hi, I’m Sharon, and I work personally with every client from the first conversation through to choosing the photographs you love. Portraiture keeps drawing me back because people are endlessly interesting: children with huge personalities and a twinkle in their eyes, the connection between family members, and someone arriving nervously for a headshot and gradually becoming more confident.
My aim is simple: to create an enjoyable fun experience, that allows me to take photographs that you will want to look at over and over forever, each time bringing a smile to your face.
“She put me at ease straight away.”
Sharon’s guidance on poses and expressions was really helpful, and the final photos turned out polished and professional. I’ve had lots of compliments on them.
